 | Come to the LMC with a purpose in mind. |
| Speak in a quiet voice and be courteous. |
| If you do not need to use the LMC, please walk quietly around it- don't
cut through it. |
| Use a shelf marker when selecting a book. |
| Two items may be borrowed for a one week period. An item returned to the
LMC within the borrowing period may be renewed for an additional week. Overdue notices are
sent each Wednesday. Fourth and fifth graders are allowed to check out four items at once. |
| Before leaving the LMC, return materials to the proper place, in the
correct order, or ask for help. Push in your chair. |
| If you need to go to the bathroom while in the LMC, just ask an adult. |
| Take care of library materials and your library card. Do not loan your
card to anyone or check someone else's books out under your card. Damaged or lost
materials must be paid for. If you lose your library
card, you will be asked to pay $1.00 to replace it. You will have the same library card
for all of your years at Brookdale. |
| Search station computers may be used freely. Other computers that are
available in the LMC may be used to finish a project or to play educational games if you
have your teacher's permission. You will be asked to go back to class if you are
disruptive. |
