Please pick a date (s) that will work for you to come to Brookdale as a WATCH D.O.G. NATIONAL WALK TO SCHOOL DAY - OCTOBER 4TH
On Wednesday, October 4th, many of our teachers and staff will meet students at several corners within the Brookdale area to walk to school with them. This national celebration is to promote safe walking and biking habits as children walk to school each day. For more information, check out the Walk & Bike to School website. See attached flier for the corners and times staff will be present.
BROOKDALE PULL TAB COLLECTION
Brookdale has kicked off its schoolwide pull tab collection for Ronald McDonald' House Charities (RMHC)! Help support RMHC by collecting the little tabs you pull to open pop, soup or other aluminum cans! Drop off your collected pop, soup or other aluminum can pull tabs in the collection container at Brookdale School (located in the LMC)! More information may be found at www.brookdalepta.org/pull-tabs.

At Curriculum Night, the Reading Specialists (Mrs. Schmalandt, Mrs. Born and Mrs. Sanders) shared ideas on how to increase your child's reading skills at all levels. Did you know they have a blog that shares more information? Check out the Brookdale Reading Improvement blog and have fun exploring!
